Colourful kites flying high over a sandy beach full of people

Where to fly

Open ground, no wires, wind off the water. Weifang has plenty of it, and so does most of the world.

Our fields

Up, and down again

Back to the wind

Feel it on the back of your neck. A friend holds the kite twenty paces downwind.

Let it go, don't throw it

Your friend opens their hands. You take two steps back and the kite climbs on its own.

Dragons go up head first

Lay the discs out in a straight line on the grass, launch the head, then walk the tail up.

Wind in on the reel

Never by hand onto the ground. Line on the grass is line in a knot.

People on the line

Customers send us their pictures. These came in this spring.

Bring spare line

Line wears where it rubs the bridle. We change ours every season, and we always carry a second spool.
